Is this just an intellectual exercise at this point, or are some of you actually considering this for some reason that's beyond me?

First of all Mr. Troy was/is a smart man. I never claimed to be nor am I.
But you ARE and expert, with lots of facts about the inner workings of a private company.

AND you are now an expert on Kevin's mind.
Don't sell yourself short!

No Dan, I'm just an end user who's careful where he spends his next dollar :D

No one need be an expert in anything to see that for the first time in memory there is a chronic mold problem with tobacco coming from a specific house. Dan, your insults are beneath you, and not relevant to the mold issue.
A standup company, that we all love, respect and root for is having trouble with mold. That's it.

Guys-

The problem is solved...like I said it was a 3 month process. I seriously doubt and would be extremely surprised if any tins from September 2016 on will have mold.

So I just found this. Is this the mold we are taking about. It is from a blend I have not seen mentioned as far as I know. What can I do about this?
Edit: crap. Apparently I have forgotten how to properly upload a picture. Well I'm just going to sit here and smoke my Briar. hey look a fox just ran across my yard.

That's not mold, that's a box of cigars.
However, if this is what you were trying to post from your photobucket account, then yes, that is mold on some un-named tobacco...

Haha. Yeah. Technology fail on my part. Sorry bout that. Yes that is the tobacco. I purchased it from P & C. Do I need to contact them for replacement?

What's ironic about some of this discussion is that there's this blend of wondrous flavor with a serious manufacturing issue and all of the suggestions on how to mitigate the issue will affect the flavor. Cook it, nuke it, spray it with alcohol, napalm it, whatever, what's the point when the result won't be the flavor that is the reason for wanting to keep it in the first place?

I'm chalking it up to post-election stress disorder. The brain drain on this board is pretty hard this week.

cant you cut the mold out and still smoke the rest, or do you have to throw away the whole thing?
