The best plan to determine your own top choices, which will change over time, is to sample many blends in small quantities (pouch, 1 or 2 oz bulk, one tin, etc.) and keep track of the constituent tobaccos in those you like. Save (jar) those you don't like to sample again in a year or two.
Try new blends based on constituents you like in previous samples. Take your time and enjoy yourself, which is the point. Out of the blue, I'd recommend Cornell & Diehl Billy Budd, and Old Joe Krantz original, both available in bulk, I believe.

My favorite non aromatic in general, C&D Peagus. Plain and simple, Burley, Virginia and unflavored Cavendish. It has decent nicotine for most people, it can easily be smoked multiple times a day or "all day", smokes well without drying, not many if any relight's, no doddle to speak of, no moisture left behind. It tastes just like tobacco. ?

I’ll give a different answer depending on what day of the week it is. Blends that I’d be really upset about if they went out of production tomorrow:

Arango Balkan Supreme
St Bruno Ready Rubbed
MacBaren HH Old Dark Fired
GLP Spark Plug
GLP Haddo’s Delight
GLP Key Largo
Erinmore Flake
C&D Habana Daydream
C&D Black Frigate
C&D Billy Budd
C&D Gentleman Caller
D&R Rimboche SJ (here’s hoping the new product will be as good as Mark’s)
D&R Picayune (oh wait...)
