I don’t categorize music like other people do. Spinning Merle Haggard’s Live Okee From Muskogee 1969. I was just a kid living in Shawnee, Oklahoma when Merle released the iconic Okee from Muskogee. It was meant to make fun of the simple people who lived in goomba USA, but it was embraced by the heartland. And setting up in the Civic Center in backwoods Muskogee, they awarded Merle with the key to the city, live on this album.

Jethro Tull is one of my favorite bands. Saw them on their Stormwatch tour, still one of my most fondly remembered concerts.
I was lucky enough to see them 8 times during their glory years. The Bursting Out Tour was my first concert with them and I believe Roots to Branches was my last. Ian Anderson was absolutely great before his voice blew out.
