Listened to Robert Plant on my drive to the pub tonight.
On a fairly regular basis, Robert Plant or Zeppelin will end up in my rotation. I always ask my wife to identify him. Without fail she’s unsure. I have to remind her that it’s the fella that sings with Diana Krall. Different life experiences!
As great as he was with Zeppelin, his solo work is also excellent. His collaboration with Alison Krauss was great as well.
This evening it was Mott The Hooples album Mott. They were very underated IMO. Hard to believe Ian Hunter is 83 years old.
It probably was Allison Krauss. Hate off to him for remaining relevant and continuing to create.
