Could be worse, I bring a satchel with me on long trips. Got my pipe pouch of course, my notebooks, and my maxpedition pocket organizer with me. I've had it for many years. The wife likes to give me crap for bringing a purse....you have to keep them in a place that negates forgetting them. Example your car or in your backpack if you're a nerd like me.
love the tins in the pipe shelfs. Nice touch
I miss my man purse. Weirdly I loved that thing even though it was the most hippie dippie article I used to own.Could be worse, I bring a satchel with me on long trips. I would try but she would surely put me outdoors. And although not in the true spirit of this thread, I repurposed a new kitchen hutch into my new pipe & tobacco haven - in my “cellar”! (Basement...?)

I have a plastic tube that came with a hand rolled cigar that a mate of mine bought at London Airport that I use to keep my USB sticks in so they don't get lost.
50 years ago they were great for carrying your weed in... ?35mm film canisters for taking some tobacco on the go.
How about a .22 inch diameter dowell ?Nothing really. I've been thinking of making tampers out of spent .22LR brass cases, though, but dunno what to use for a rod.
I've got a couple of .500 Linebaugh brass I use for tamping--almost fills the pipe bowl.223 or 5.56 brass is perfect (spent primers of course ?)!
