Depending on the time of day: morning, coffee. Afternoon, tea. Evening, either a heady IPA or whisky of some stripe. Tonight specifically is Wild Turkey 101. Not bad stuff.

Usually hot or cold tea. But you beer drinkers need to get your hands on some cask conditioned porter. It has less carbonation bite.

In order, bourbon, brandy, or single malt. Last weekend I tried a 50/50 mix of Frangelico and Jim Beam. The mix holds promise; I might dial it down to 25-75...

I don't drink alcohol anymore really, my general pipe drink is coffee with creamer, no sugar. Seems to go well to me.

Coffee in the am, especially with some Frog Morton Cellar, or 5110.
After lunch it just depends on what I feel like having. A few beers I enjoy, Guinness, Sam Adams Boston, Shiner Bock, or whatever else I might have. A nice glass of wine is also good in either a red or white. A Beringer Cabernet sauvignon has been quite nice lately with some Frog. I enjoyed a Sauvignon Blanc with HH House of Lords.
A Bourbon cocktail pairs well with most everything. I make a hard lemonade bourbon cocktail of almost equal parts bourbon, tonic water, and lemonade. Maybe a bit heavier on the bourbon than the other parts, but not out of balance.

When I smoke straight VA's, usually tea, hot or cold. When I'm smoking something with more heft I like IPA's-- Sierra Nevada Torpedo lately. And Bourbon neat, anytime, with any smoke if I'm in the mood. I love good Cabs and Syrahs but can't seem to get them to mesh with the pipe..........

Lately I have been drinking a lot of iced tea with my smokes. This past Saturday while brewing up a couple beers, I had a few bowls with some different craft brews and found that I didn't necessarily care for the combination. It really changed my palate and didn't allow me to appreciate either vice to its fullest potential (neither the beer or the tobacco).

Valerian root herbal tea with honey an hour before bedtime, my relax time. Valerian root counteracts some heavy blends that tend to wire you up before bedtime.
