Sometimes a closed drawing still happens, but the ones around 2000 were terrible.Cuban cigar time...
Also a reminder to invest in a perfect draw tool...
A Vegas Robaina Famoso, which despite the plugged draw is burning quite well, possibly need to lower the RH of my humidor back to 61-2% but plugged Cubans is part of the game.
But for the $40 odd Aussie dollars I think I'll keep to the cheaper sticks as I don't smoke often enough to pick the nuances between brands.
I think I'll revisit the Vegueros lines, from memory I never had a plugged or tight draw out of any of them, they just need some age to mellow out.

As you rightly described, Cubans are notoriously more closed than others. Today it is no longer possible to talk about brands and typical products, since they have centralized multi-brand production. Thus, it is possible to meet a cigar with a narrow draw with a different anilla, of course, in the superpremium cigars whose manufacture is intended for personnel with a lot of experience it is more rare that this happens. In your experience, is there a particular cuban brand that is an exception or is it hit and miss with everybody?
Here they are not yet available. Given the greater quantity of Ometepe compared to the Alma Fuertes, how are they in terms of aromatic intensity?
