Can't say I've ever had a cigar with tobacco from Paraguay. Can you pick it out from the blend, and if so, what's it like? I'm a big fan of Peruvian tobacco, but it doesn't seem to be used often.
Peruvian tobacco seems to be catching on a bit. Tabacalera Pichardo uses it in a number of his cigars and those he makes for others (e.g. Mil Dias) and I've enjoyed them quite a bit.

Smoking a Drew Estate Liga Privada Aniversario with some Kenyan drip coffee. Not a bad cigar, but not worth the price, imo.

Good to know. May have to search one out.

Also, you just described literally every Liga Privada I've ever had. Lol.

Decided to smoke through my "experimental" pile of smokes to see if any are box worthy. Had an Espinosa Alibi, and then La Flor Dominicana 1994 last night. I won't be buying boxes of either. The LFD was good, but they have much better blends available. I'll let the last couple age for a couple years just to make sure they don't drastically change for the better.

'14 Fundadores, from a box bought in Switzerland when they hadn't arrived in Italy for years because they were no longer imported, thus paying 45% more. After six months, in Italy, there was an extraordinary release without any increase because the price list reported the price of four years earlier.
Even now that they have been reintroduced, they are listed at € 25 each, while in Switzerland € 34.25 each...
