Great smoke!
It was REALLY enjoyable. I'm considering buying a box of 10.Great smoke!
One of my favorites. If you like this profile try the Murcielago, by Espinosa. It was REALLY enjoyable. I'm considering buying a box of 10.
My biggest issue with both of the brand’s is there business model and marketing scam. Over the years I have had one Gurkha that I would call good, the rest were mediocre at best and none of em were worth more than $4 Tops. RP has several blends that I like and used to smoke regularly, but then Nish took over the marketing aspect of the company, in my opinion he is such a D-bag that I won’t give them my business anymore. There’s literally hundreds of cigars that are generally much better.I'm turning in early tonight so I went ahead and lit this Rocky Patel Fifteenth Anniversary for a nightcap, with a Voodoo Ranger Juice Force IPA.
I'm still newbie but I feel Rocky Patel, and to a lesser extent Gurkha, are not very popular in these parts. I've found Rocky's to be very quality, second to Oliva in my thusfar limited experience.

Edit: right after posting this, I went to take the bands off. During my most recent visit to my local, I was passive aggressively harangued by old-timers for keeping the bands on my Centurian. My logic was that the GA can get on the wrapper, so you want to heat it up first to be safe. De-band at the last moment. Well my elders got in my head. I just took the bands off my cigar and seperated a singnificant flap of wrapper in the middle of the barrel. It's saveable, but my allegiance is now solidified. I disband when the fire leaves me no choice.
I'm not much for flavored cigars but I've gotta smoke a Fat Bottom Betty before the damn thing flavors any other tobacco in my possession. I've been good about keeping it out of the humidor and keeping it in a travel humidor but i fear it will ghost that damn thing too!
