Oliva Connecticut, mild smoke, no punch, waiting on 1922 Petite Bajou, should be in the mail today, Odob I ordered a 5 pack of AJF San Lotano The Bull.
Curious to hear what you think. Not my favorite AJ Fernandez blend (that would be the Bellas Artes, I think) but in my opinion, he reliably produces an interesting, well-constructed cigar. Always worth trying.

You rolled that? Looks amazing!
Thank you. Using a mold after bunching, and wrapping on stone, tile or steel rather than wood sure helps to make them pretty. The first goal is to get the draw right, though, which you ought to do freehand—'roll one, smoke one'. If you do that, the muscle memory builds up really quickly.

I hesitate to say because it was not the best blend. Kinda flat. Not nearly as complex as I predicted. Maybe it was my mouth and nose. I am still utterly confused about how to get cigars just right. I've had all of the ingredients work in different proportions mixed with different cigars. Maybe it was the Olor binder that leveled everything off.

Filler was 1 Cibao Valley Habano ligero, 1.5 Criollo 98 viso, 2 Pelo de Oro seco
I would imagine the Pelo de Oro takes the lead?

This is something I need to get into down the road. I've rolled plenty of "cigars" in my life, but not with quality tobacco filler. It's on the list.
