I realized I have smoked something like this before. Acid Kuba Kuba, though it is infused has base tobacco which tastes like this.

Others have described the Candela wrapper is grassy, Virginia like. While I would not describe this the same way, the flavor is milder with a subtle complex sweetness. Although it still tastes like a cigar, it has a few mild nuances. Overall fairly tasty and I will be smoking these often.


How are those? I was trying to see if there were any good candela wrapped cigars on the market. Those looked like they were probably the best bet.

indeed! i when thru a box of those in the TAA Lancero. They weren't my typical blend, but i really enjoyed them.
I've always thought they'd be good in the lancero/panatela size.

Now smoking a Viaje Green Zombie. Having had two of three green and two of the red, both are good, but three green is definitely my favorite. As expected as I usually prefer Criollo or Habano-seed wrappers in general to Mexican San Andres. Viaje Red Zombie is a good San Andres, though.
