God, I hope not as it's the only thing I have down to a science!
Past hobbies... flute, drums, 10 meter Olympic Air Rifle, shooting all types of handguns and reloading my own ammo, making handmade custom knives, albeit I made money on that, but it was still a hobby to me, reading, but I certainly don't consider that as a hobby.
Other than that I'm with tbradsim1. Worked all my life and I'm retired. Have chair... will sit. I will on occasion yell out the window and tell the kids to get off of my Goddamn lawn and occasionally beat the crap out of my parrot for the exercise and to make me feel like a man.

Games of all sorts are my most constant hobby - board games (especially historical wargames), card games (Magic, Poker, etc.), and video games (mostly non-MMO RPG's). I shift between genres throughout the year - this time of the year tends to be videogaming season for some reason. I just picked up Desktop Dungeons yesterday and am having fun with that - sort of a bizarre, roguelike cross between Diablo and Minesweeper. Overall favorite games... Advanced Squad Leader (board, a hobby unto itself), Here I Stand (board, Wars of the Reformation), Magic (card), Persona 3 and 4 (video), and FTL (video).
Like several other folks above, I used to dabble in a lot more hobbies before I had kids. Serious interests at various times of my life include rowing, backpacking, cooking, pipe making, computer networking, security, and programming, and Legos. My "reading" is usually studying mathematics and working problems - I'm a HS math teacher by trade, and like to work on university-level material to keep from getting rusty. If I have some time off, I'll probably read some history. I started building a model ship recently and will probably keep that up over the winter.
It's not surprising to me to see a model railroaders (or admirers) here - it's a very pipe-smoker-y hobby. I've always loved model trains, but live in a relatively small place in the city and can't spare permanent space for a layout. I know I could make something in N scale work, but a layout that small just doesn't grab me. And besides, assembling any kind of decent layout requires more time than I'm willing to invest right now. However, I do bust out big, standard gauge trains (reproductions, not originals) to set up a Christmas layout every year - at about 6' by 12', it's about 1/3 of our living room. For non-RR'ers, standard gauge is about double the length and width of O scale - they're huge! My kids love to see the trains come out every year, and my wife loves to see them put away so she can have her room back. We just laid out the snow and the track this past weekend, and now my kids will get to work decorating it with Lego buildings. I'm super-psyched... playing with trains is the best part of the holidays for me.

FISHING!!! Living in Fla I am blessed with year round action. Nothing beats a 7lbs 28 inch red fish in 1 feet of water on the other end of your pole. It's the only other hobby I have that is more expensive than pipe's, but it's so worth it.

My other hobbies include... bartending. Wish I could get into it professionally but my current job makes it hard to find something that works. So I just entertain friends with an occasional cocktail party. I also love writing... though have had some serious writers block as of late. Also into fishing. Not too serious about it and mostly set up for trout. Need to get some bigger lures for bass and bigger, especially now that I have a kayak. Video games are also something of a hobby, But find I am becoming less and less interested as I get older.

I do a bit of woodworking, but my main hobby is costuming. I have made all these myself, they all comprise my stable of slasher movie costumes. Aside from Halloween I wear these to conventions and horror film festivals. I also sell some of the stuff I make and make some stuff just to sell it. Always a nice bit of profit as Halloween approaches, made about $800 this year. This hobby is a bit expensive so I have to fund it by making and selling.

You want to be a bartender! Yikes... I did that back in 1970-71 at the 'Top of the Rocks' in the Prudential building in Chicago (no longer there... the restaurant that is) and it sucked! Pouring drinks for your friends is one thing, but dealing with the public day after day is an entirely different thing.

Aside from dabbling in pipes and tobacco, my main hobbies are archery and collecting and studying wine (with a focus on Italian wines of the Tuscany and Piedmont regions).
While I don't really consider it a hobby, I am also a bit of an audiophile and always enjoy adding on to my home stereo system, which I use much more frequently than any television in my home.
I also enjoy yanking people's chains, and find it to be an enjoyable pastime, if not a real hobby.
Finally, I have learned through the years that making money is a hobby that will perfectly complement any other hobbies one might have.
So just consider your job a hobby, and you will enjoy it more than ever.

I absolutely love computer programming. I've been doing it since around the age of 12, since then I've become a bit of a 'jack of all trades.' A program is much like a puzzle with thousands of tiny pieces, except no where near as frustrating, and much more creative; a perfect match with a lit pipe.
If you're the analytically creative type, I would suggest giving it a go. There is an amazing amount of resources available on the internet.

The word hobby offends me. It diminishes the value of what you do. Yes, I can understand that if someone with no real interests collects matchbooks, that is a hobby. But pipesmoking is not a hobby it is a way of life.

I don't know about pipe smoking being a way of life. I've done a hell of a lot of things in my life, and I still do. I just happen to smoke a pipe. Others smoke cigarettes, and others chew/dip. There isn't one single thing that I do that I feel defines me. Anyone else's mileage may vary.
Our culture is so given to pigeonholing and labeling people. It treats people as though they are a disposable commodity. Label, pigeonhole, dismiss, move on. True quality of thought is a rarity, now. People fill their heads with garbage, and in turn, treat each other like garbage, and... eh, this has become rather ranty, hasn't it? Sorry.... I'll stop. :P

I cook, and my sons tell me I should open a restaaurant. Like hell I will! I'm enjoying my retirement too much. On the other hand, I love cooking for my family, and friends welcome a dinner invitation. In addition, I'm a musician (euphonium,) and play in a community band. I'm looking forward to playing again in Tuba Christmas on December 13. I also collect fountain pens. While I'm not a calligrapher, I have a decent script, and people tell me how surprised and thrilled they are to get a handwritten letter in this day of electronic communications. I'm especially fond of demonstrator pens.

I am into the Sport of Crossfit - (you might have to google / youtube it...), snowboarding and white-water kayaking. Also I tend to consider travel a hobby, I have visited over 30 countries in the last 8 years, and am always planning, reading and researching at least the next two or three trips.

I was thinking of taking up Garden Gnome husbandry but you can never work out what sex they are as even the women have beards. I do collect wines and I have established a complete vertical of Figeac from 1949 onwards with 63 and 65 missing as none was made on those years to the best of my knowledge. I suppose buying pipes among other things would count as well as previously stated writing the odd novel!
