Pre-War motorcycles which is a hobby restricted to the UK. I collect wine, write spy thrillers in my spare time and my meerschaum 'cutty' pipe rotation, cooking up fun tobacco's that deliver long term brain damage with my chum Dan!

Wow, this list will either be long or I will abbreviate it to spare you the pain my wife endures with my hobbies LOL
I am into leather working, its a new hobby for me but I like being creative. I ride Harleys, Love to read, ride bicycles, shoot guns, shoot bows, collect military challenge coins, collect fountain pens, play video games and like to take long walks on the beach LOL

So many past hobbies, so few today. Hiking, photography, collecting Sci-Fi signed first editions, reading in a wide assortment of topics - especially American history, opening closed doors to restricted areas to see what is back there, road trips, cookery.

Thought I would share my other interest with the group. As some of you may recognize from my forum name I am also a HAM radio operator. Been doing that for quite some time now. I actually hold an Extra class license (got it back when you had to know code) but never changed my call sign.

I am a bit of a history buff and love learning in general.

I do a lot of pipe restorations and repairs mainly as a hobby, but I am always willing to help if someone needs it.

I have two children, one 16 and one 12, who are both in a very active marching band program for which my wife is the accounts payable person so I am very involved in being a "band parent" which can also be time consuming.

I love to collect and restore cast iron cookware.

I also love magic. I love to watch it, I love to perform it, I just love it. I even have a trick of the week I post to youtube.

I am a very active member of my Masonic Lodge, of which I am a Past Master, and I am a Shriner.

Over the years, I've accumulated a number of hobbies - music (piano/organ, singing, drums), shooting sports (archery, smallbore rifle, muzzle-loading, pistol shooting), reading (mostly sf/fantasy, history, alt history), writing, video games (largely MMOs, specifically World of WarCraft), leatherworking, costuming (Steampunk), chainmaille weaving, counted cross-stitch, bicycling, and so forth...
My bicycle has been sadly abandoned for the last couple of years, and I finally went shooting for the first time in years last month. I'm still doing a fair bit of reading, although about half of it is listening to audiobooks on my commute. I tried doing NaNoWriMo this year in order to develop more of a habit of writing, but it was pretty much a complete failure...
On the other hand, the new WOW expansion is out, and I'm having fun doing that again. :D

1. Keep bees

2. Shoot

3. Run a fledgling pipe tobacco company with CondorLover1. Since we've yet to turn a buck on it, and I don't envision giving up the day job, I'll classify it as a hobby.

I write (mostly short stories, some poetry), scuba dive, play piano, guitar, drums, and sing... I enjoy target shooting, motorcycles, and I flew Cessnas and an ultralight (powered parachute) for years. I am also a member of MENSA.

I'll accept your nomination, on behalf of my party, but only if my office has a balcony that I can jump off of, come The Revolution.

I just recently had to give up some of my more expensive hobbies sadly... No more R/C planes and helicopters and I reduced my tabletop wargaming by over half. I've managed to make a pretty penny selling it all off; I guess the next thing to go is to either gift or sell my scale models and dioramas... I'm trying to limit myself to one project at a time. So currently I have my pipes, hunting and shooting sports, strategy games and the 1/200 Scale version of the Mighty Mo' to be gifted to my father in law (a navy man). It's sad to let some things go, but it's better they are enjoyed by someone that collecting dust because they are too expensive for me to continue.

Years ago I ruined my favorite hobby by turning pro as I am now the head brewer for a medium sized chain of breweries in my area and no longer homebrew. Now, besides collecting way too many pipes and tobaccos, I am a food geek, both cooking and eating, a single malt scotch collector and drinker, a fishing and hunting wannabe, a gun collector - especially .357 Magnum revolvers but also tactical stuff. I target shoot both short and long range but not enough to be any good at it. I have several motorcycles (Harleys and dual purpose street/offroad) and recently sold my VW camper van as my love thinks 3 star hotels are roughing it and camping is definitely not on her menu (heavy sigh). I sold my antique sports cars last year (1977 Porsche 911 and 1975 TR6) and I'll probably regret that. I work part time at a gun store and like tinkering with guns. Any spare time (a rare commodity) is spent messing around with my three labrador retrievers or on this forum while I'm puffing away contently in my study.

Between work and being a true single parent (my son's mom works overseas and hasn't been back for a visit in 19 months) I find that I don't have much free time. What I DO have consists of:
1. Dating my Fiance. Details to remain private ;)
2. Seahawks/ Sounders/ Thunderbirds games. Season tix to the Seahawks with tickets to the Sounders or Thunderbirds as time allows.
3. Brewing Beer. Did my first batch a while back. Am looking forward to doing that again this spring.
4. World of Warcraft has grabbed my attention as well. It is nice to play a game that you can accumulate your experiences in and not just win a lvl and be done. Ogame is another game like that, but played in 24hour/day real time. I am ranked #21 out of 2000 on my server in that.
That's about it. I can tell just by reading this that many of you are more efficient with your time/spare time. I envy you!

I had to give up my cowboy reenactment hobby when I broke my hip, but I still like to dress the part when our town has its festivals. Now I am focusing on ukuleles, banjos, and most recently the fiddle. I find it hard to call reading a hobby, but I absorb about three or four books a week. It's just what I do.
Since it is how I make my living, it's hard to call my gem cutting and metalsmithing a hobby, but it an obsession. I go every other year to gem and mineral shows. And, collecting has taken me to India, Indonesia, Australia, and Afghanistan (back when I could go), as well as many US and Canadian mining areas. I love being able to show my customers pictures of where the gems come from and bring back stones in their natural forms. And, now that business has picked back up, plans are in the works to visit a few African countries to continue my collection and adventures.
Oh, and gardening and raising livestock, but that is just food. So, I'm not sure if that's a hobby either.

@morton for which brewery do you work? I'd love to either try something I haven't had or tell you how much I enjoyed it in the past if I have tried it already.

Golf, golf, golf.
Playing it, practicing it, watching it, talking about it, playing it some more. Also I like to learn about golf course architecture and golf course design.
