It was quite good wasn't it? Vince Russo is a bit of a moron but I did agree with him about John Bradshaw Layfield. The guys a bully and always has been, it was funny watching him get his clock cleaned.

It wasn't the first time either. Apparently JBL was picking on little Joey Styles (the former ECW & WWE commentator) on a plane ride back from Iraq. Here's a report from the time.

"JBL went after former ECW play-by-play announcer Joe "Joey Styles" Bonsigore.
All week long, Styles was viciously hazed by JBL, who reportedly spent his entire time in Iraq severely intoxicated.
Styles apparently couldn't stand it anymore, and when other people got in between the two, Styles blasted JBL with a punch that saw JBL end up with a cut and blackened eye, which was somewhat visible under heavy makeup on Monday Night Raw.
All reports say JBL spent most of Monday night by himself in the locker room, being very quiet and spending most of the time emailing on his Blackberry. Styles has not commented publicly on the incident."

??

I haven't finished it yet, but I do remember watching it live when it happened. Those guys got messed up bad.

I really do not like Vince Russo, he's a complete idiot and a big a-hole.

I agree about JBL. He thought his shit didn't stink. The only time I really cared for him is when he was with Farooq and they were The Acolytes.

I watched Minority Report for the first time since it’s release. Enjoyable but an hour too long and a bit stupid in parts. Every time this lady appeared I would exclaim to my girlfriend “who is that hottie?” or similarly...

The Gentlemen - A Plus Plus, another Guy Ritchie win. Best movie I've seen in a long time (and, not too long). If you enjoyed Snatch, this is right up your alley.

Sweet! I have yet another reason to live! lol

Cheers,

Chili

Started watching a recorded film earlier this week by the name of "Dude, Someone Stole My Car" about two stoners who lose their car.

I had to stop after 15 minutes, it was absolutely terrible ?

Rated minus 1.

Regards,

Jay.?
I liked that movie, but i do recall being turned off by it at first, but liking it in the end.

It's seems like I'm watching a lot of commercials telling me "It wasn't long after we opened that we realized we weren't in the @#$% business, we're in the people business. In these hard times, we're working hard to keep you safe. So stay in and stay safe, because we care about you and we have to care care of each other now. So use the internet to order whatever crap we sell and we'll bring it to you without touching you, seeing you and preferably, without talking to you and hearing about your troubles. We got our own problems you know? Let's be honest, you don't care about us and we don't care about you. You want our, let's say pizza's and we want your money so we can stay open and keep paying our people minimum wage. Yeah, open and employed. That's where we're at. While you (and our executive staff) are "working" at home (which we all know means 4 hours worth of worth and 4 hours of watching TV and internet surfing), we're still forced to be out here in our blue white and red uniforms making and delivering pizza that you all claim "sucks" no matter how much we try to improve it, yet you all still order because it's only $20 for 4 Large pizzas. So order some. Now. Because we care.

Vivarium. Top notch acting, novel story, great script, good direction. 4.5/5 stars.
If you like sci fi and especially if you are a fan of Black Mirror, Twilight Zone etc, you would enjoy it.
The director is Lorcan Finnegan and he also directed Without Name, which is good but not on a par with Vivarium. Vivarium is one of those movies that will be talked about in reviews for years as a standard of a certain kind of weird.

The Long Good Friday. I own it digitally but when I went to find the trailer on YouTube I found some kind soul has uploaded the entire movie (link below). It's a cult classic British gangster film from 1979 starring the late great Bob Hoskins, a young Pierce Brosnan before he started taking his vesper martini 'shaken not stirred," and the ever lovely Dame Helen Mirren.

If you liked Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels you'll probably like this. A definite 5/5

Rewatching "The Walking Dead". I watched it originally up through about season 3 and every now and then after that.

At the time i remember thinking how well the characters were fleshed out (no pun intended), but i dont have as much appreciation now.
Now they seem a little obvious, silly and reactive. Still a fun show, though sometimes i wonder if they know they are being funny.

I have not finished reading through the thread but is anyone else watching the videos on curiositystream.com? It is cheap and has a huge library.

Also, we are going to watch "Upgrade". Check out the trailer.
