Two seasons, 20 episodes (30 minutes each). There will be a third season.
Three strangers share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to realize a killer might be living among them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it's too late.
My wife and binge watched all 20 episodes in about 4 days. I really enjoyed it and rate it 5/5. I'm looking forward to season 3.
Some of the the other stars include Sting, Nathan Lane, Tina Fey, Amy Ryan, Michael Rapaport, Shirley MacLaine, Jane Lynch and many more...some are only cameos.
Martin Short's facial expressions are the best. So funny!Martin Short is utterly hilarious and steals every scene. He really nailed it.
I’m looking forward to watching this one.Watched 6 out of 7 episodes of The Watcher in a row with my wife. I can’t remember the last time we were up so late. Starts deliciously creepy but somewhere along the line the story becomes at once convoluted and seemingly simplistic, usually this hints at a crappy ending, let’s see tomorrow.
Finished it last night - just one episode left. Some half-arsed twists to the plot but in the end it was quite predictable.I’m looking forward to watching this one.
We watched the first episode, personally I can't take this level of depression and terrible acts anymore, if it was fiction it may have been more palatable, but knowing it is not made it hard to watch for me. My wife was already switched off from the first minute knowing what it is about.Just finished Dahmer - Monster: The Jefferey Dahmer Story on Netflix
I thought it was the best story of Dahmer, he was a very strange serial killer, very interesting. They made a movie about him several years ago, it was absolutely terrible. I’ve hated a lot of Ryan Murphey’s stuff lately, especially American Horror Story but this was done very well. Of you remember and lived through the times where his face was all over the news, I highly recommend it. I was 11 years old year he was caught. I just remember seeing him as the boogeyman.
5/5
I know what you mean, there’s times where I need to take a break from true crime but I’m definitely a true crime junky. They are making more and more of it these days. The one that made me take a break from it for awhile was, American Murder: The Family Next Door. That was just heartbreaking! We watched the first episode, personally I can't take this level of depression and terrible acts anymore, if it was fiction it may have been more palatable, but knowing it is not made it hard to watch for me. We'd watched one docu-series about Ted Bundy, that one was just as bad but at least at the end we had some sort of closure that the bastard got it, Dahmer had this crushing depressing feeling from the start that you almost feel pity for someone not deserving it.
We'd really enjoyed Manhunt (about the Unabomber). 5/5
