Currently watching "Monsters: The Lye and Erik Menendez Story" (4/5) and "Penguin" (4/5). I know, all very dark stuff. "Monsters" is particularly disturbing as it gets very descriptive of the abuses by the brothers' father, played by the great Javier Bardem.

"Robin Hood" (2018). Yeah, it's with a guy with an English accent, not the one in tight. Jamie Fox plays John. Little different from usual Robin Hood story, but close enough. 4/5. On Netflix.

The Good Liar. Dame Hellen Mirren, Sir Ian McKellen, light and funny with a couple of dark twists and countertwists that you see coming but enjoy nonetheless. 5/5
Darn! I see it's for rent on Prime and AppleTV, but not free for streaming.
Do you- or did you- have a free source for this?

Oh, just remembered you're in Switzerland. Still curious- Source?

The Apprentice. It tells the story of the relationship between a young Donald Trump and lawyer Roy Cohn. Cohn was Senator Joseph McCarthy's chief counsel during the infamous 1950's hearings and was generally a bit of a shitbag. He also represented the top mob bosses in New York and Andy Warhol.

I really enjoyed it 4/5

Sometimes it’s rewarding to revisit an old favorite.
Watching Monk on Netflix.
6 out of 5
Started watching it a few nights ago because I saw you post it here. It's good but somewhat dated? Reminds me of the X-Files' "monster of the week plus overarching story" trope. Some of the episodes' endings were complete deus ex machina. Still it's a pleasant watch.

I used to eat up every episode of Monk, and I love revisiting the odd show every now and then. But I couldn't binge on the reruns. Still "only" 5/5.....!

Watched where the crawdads sing on Netflix last night and liked it very much, loved the twist at the end. Witherspoon does a fantastic job producing this one. 5/5

Tonight we have slated The Popes Exorcist to watch, looking forward to this one too.
