The Adventures of Hercules staring The Hulk 4/5 because just because bad.

When Hercules grows like really really really big and stops the Earth with one hand and the Moon with the other, cinematic history my friends, so real you'd think it happened.

Edit: Well crap that was II .. now i have to go find the first one. lol

Last night I watched Skin, a true life story about a neo nazi who denounces his white supremacy views and leaves his group to lead a normal life with his new wife.

Gritty and upsetting at times, I thought it a well written & acted piece.

Easily a 4/5.

Slingblade (5/5, 1996). Billy Bob lost the Best Actor Oscar to Geoffrey Rush in "Shine"......never heard of it.

Brittannia on Amazon Prime. Lots of crazy going on here, but really well filmed! Oh, and Kelly Reilly... 5/5 for me.

Diablo with Scott Eastwood. They said it was paying homage to the old spaghetti western, the only thing that this movie had in common with them is that Clint's kid is in it, so an Eastwood.

The movie had nothing to do with spaghetti westerns, disjointed story, too much dialog which was mostly horrible, mediocre acting and the big "twist" in the movie they reveal a little over half way through, it might have worked a bit if they revealed it at the end, but it really jumped the shark at that point.

1/5 stars because I'm feeling charitable.

Not going to waste your time with the trailer ... which probably reveals the twist as well LOL

Let me spare everyone some pain. Do not watch either of these 0/5 rated turds. I was sick Saturday, watching them made me worse. LIam and Neeson should be ashamed of themselves for inflicting these movies on the unsuspecting public.

Being There One of my favorite all time movie. 5/5.

It's available to rent for three bucks on a dozen streaming services. For me, the few bucks are well worth seeing it in HD vs. a potentially scratchy and lo-rez VHS.

The last 2 evenings I watched a 2023 Irish thriller called Clean Sweep.

It is a gripping tale of the wife of a senior detective whose past shady life comes back to haunt her with tragic consequences.

Spread over 6 x 50 minute episodes it is very well written and acted. However it loses a star due the the cliff-hanger ending, almost as if there is another episode to come but there isn't. Still, well worth a look if it comes your way.

Therefore 4/5.
