I like The Walking Dead. Three and one-half out of 5. My wife doesn’t like it. She says, “Get chased by a zombie..kill a zombie..repeat..what’s the point?”

This week I watched Dune. Effing awesome. What a Hollywood film should be. World building upon a classic novel as faithfully as possible. Its nice to see a major studio trust a renowned director with funds to produce a film that is not full of the brightly lit cgi battles and jokey dialogue that is the mainstay of the MCU that has people whooping in the aisles of the cinema. 4.5/5.

I've been working my way through Star Trek: Discovery over the past few weeks. Just wrapped up Season 3.

Overall, it's not bad. Actually, it's pretty good.

Admittedly, it's not the Trek I've come to know over the past thirty something years that I've been watching & reading Trek. It's well produced, the special effects are top notch and the series is well written. There are obvious continuity issues that I can overlook. There is a very high level of gayness, which doesn't bother me, it's just weird. The story has been pretty decent up to the end of the third season, and actually has me looking forward to seeing what's next for the crew of the Discovery. (4.5/5*)

The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling by Judd Appatow - 5/5

Garry, even with all the success and fame that he did have, was underrated as a comedian. The Larry Sanders Show was, in my opinion, one of the greatest series ever made.
Totally agree. Jeffrey Tambor and Rip Torn were brilliant in that show. This clip with Norm Macdonald & Henry Winkler is funny.

No flipping!

Ahhhh yes! This was a great one! Agree, Rip Torn was such a bad ass & Jeffery Tambor was/is hilarious (he was great on Arrested Development too). Norm is another one who left us too soon. Glad to see there are other fans of that show on here, it’s amazing how many people never watched it. I think it possibly lived in the shadows of Seinfeld’s shadow at the time. Both shows are brilliant, just don’t think The Larry Sanders Show got the credit it really deserved.

Yeah, over here in England i've never found that many people who have heard of it. I always recommend it to people as it's an absolute classic.

Ok, so we got bored and watched the newest season of Cobra Kai...

If spoilers are going to cause you pain and grief for this stupid assed show, then please, don't read any further. Because I have questions...
Why is it that Kreese felt so impassioned about running a storefront karate studio that he left his black opps work for the CIA to return to bullying children? Then he was able to talk the millionaire, Silver, into leaving a life of luxury to return to bullying kids also? Am I the only one who thought that was over-the-top stupid? Then, to have one trick the other into being arrested, just to take over the dojo? How much are they charging these kids per month, a million bucks?
Then, they can pick up a new kid to join their dojo, a debate student and train them to become a black belt and be prepared to fight in the All Valley tournament in just six weeks? WTF!
And, talk about a bunch of horrible bad parenting... they make the characters on Yellowstone seem like good parents... almost.

The acting... omg... it is the worst acting ever. Were people just feeding them lines as they go, or did they actually read a script... was there a script? Did writers actually set down and put this all on paper before they started filming?

I admit that after the original Karate Kid came out, I bought a pair of nunchucks, maybe a few throwing stars. It was inspirational. I was winding up my boxing, and it was a nice diversion. Karate was being taught in every city across the US that had an empty store front. This appeals to those who watched this originally, and it was hilarious to see what happened in the original movie through the eyes of Johnny, but this many seasons? WTF. I just can't... I shouldn't have... I urge you not to... don't watch this shit.

0/5 for being the stupidest shit on TV. Unless of course, like me, you like to make fun of stupid stuff... which is absolutely the only reason someone should watch this... or the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

No aardvarking; no (female) breasts; some beast kung-fu.
So... wait, are you saying that it is bad, because there is no ardvarking? (which I had to Google and I will now have to sterilize my phone). And, bad because it has no female breasts? This would make me angry also. If it has ardvarking, that lets me know that it's probably not made for the likes of me.
