Season 4 of Ozarks.

Maybe the most stressful thing I do all week is watch that show. OMG
Great show. Almost done with Part 1 of season 4.

Ruth is my favorite character. Some of the things she says and the way she says them is hilarious...she has no filters.

I’d best hunt down a copy of the original “Snow White and the seven dwarfs” An article just came up on the news here in UK of the controversy over a new version. It’s criminal the cancel culture that’s in our society run by snowflakes.

Series being altered or even taken off streaming services is ridiculous. They even took down the famous "Don't mention the war" episode of Fawlty Towers.

"One of Fawlty Towers‘ most famous episodes has been removed from a streaming service due to racial slurs.

UKTV, which is owned by the BBC, has removed an episode entitled The Germans while it carries out a review into its content."

Why can't people understand that tv series are products of their time? If you don't want to see the episode then don't go looking for it and click on the play button.
I even saw an article about controversy over "Gone With The Wind".

@smudgersmissingleg aye we live in very worrying times. Orwell and Huxley were well ahead of their time in predictions of the future. In the meantime we’ll keep keeping on.
Pssst don’t mention the war?

This morning I watched an episode of Matlock called The Marriage Counselor with Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) as a pipe smoking marriage counselor having an affair with an insurance agent's wife. The insurance agent comes home and finds the marriage counselor's monogrammed tobacco pouch under the bed. The marriage counselor is found dead and Matlock has to solve the case.

The best part is when the husband questions his wife about the tobacco pouch he found under the bed she says I only tried it once, the tobacco, Dr. Fletcher loaned it to me.

I was going to rate it 1/5 because Matlock sucks, but since a tobacco pouch is a major piece of evidence, I bumped my rating up to 2/5.

Ha, missed your post! I just finished season 5. Wish they didn't get rid of Julia Stiles as I found her relationship with Dexter quite interesting.

Have you watched Six Feet Under? I think that is one of the best shows ever made, only finished it a few weeks ago.
Watched 6ft Under and loved it. Although the wife irritated me with her constant whining.

Best Netflix we watched recently was French series Lupin - A retelling of the classic French story about Arsène Lupin, the world-famous gentleman thief and master of disguise. The actors were tremendous. The scenery and police chases throughout Paris were great.
This looks good. I'll put this on my watch list. I hope I can watch it dubbed in English, I don't like to read T.V. shows.

Yep. I blazed through all the seasons of Bergerac starting around New Year's Eve or so. Amazon Prime can't get the rights to season 4 so can't watch it, but it picked up again with season 5. In doing research I ran across an article that in some spots around the UK they won't show any of it in syndication beyond season 3 because the headquarters shifts to a new location (exterior shots only of a building) where some inappropriate activities took place when it had a former and appropriate use and when the show shot pics of the building it was owned by someone completely different and used for a different purpose but some were upset because the sight of the building triggered bad memories (which it very well may have, but still).

The Iron Sky (2012) and it's sequel, Iron Sky: The Coming Race (2018)

A farce about Moon Nazis, a Sarah Palin lookalike, Hollow Earth, Alien Creation, a quest for the Holy Grail & Nuclear War... plus it's got Hitler riding a T-Rex! What's not to enjoy? Actually, they're both pretty bad. I hadn't witnessed such spectacular parody since Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! Ranks right up there with other campy atrocities. The absolute insanity of You Don't Mess With the Zohan coupled with the production value of Galaxy Quest. (3/5*)

Don't say I didn't warn you...

3/5, that's what I would give something that I wouldn't mind watching, but I know that it's not good. Just from the description, I would give it a 1/5, without having actually watched it, ha ha.
