Every time I see this pipe I’m so curious about why it wasn’t signed. It’s such a lovely pipe! How did it end up in your possession?
I bought it from a buddy in my pipe club at a show earlier this year. I was going through estate boxes with some guys and it was cheap and just stood out to me so I grabbed it. It's a fantastic smoker, lightweight, great blast. Glad I decided to dig through the boxes (mainly because Brian Levine was giving the history on a bunch of random pipes as he pulled them from the box. I could've listened to him talk estates all day). The pipe is now a reminder of that great moment

Was that at the Smitty's event? Sounds like a great time was made even greater by this pipe.

Passing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2017 Velvet in a tan sandblasted paneled quarter bend 2001 Rinaldo Sahara 2 scoop with a pointed front and a tapered black acrylic stem. I'll end the day with this smoke.

Even though it's raining, that young, gray, striped cat was here tonight. I went outside and it ran to the end of the deck. I talked to it, and put down some dry food, and it got over its fear of me enough to get between my feet to eat. I rubbed and scratched her and as I did that, I was able to determine it's a girl. What I did not like was that her tail was bobbed and behind was shaved. That seems like she's been fixed, but why bob her tail? Anyway, I spent quite a bit of time giving her affection, which she loved. She head butted my hand over half a dozen times, and marked me more than a dozen times, and rolled around on the deck several times. She purred a lot, and when she wanted more attention, she meowed to me. I had to keep her from Abner the Eager's food, and when they were close, I rubbed on both of them at the same time hoping they would realize that they can be friends with each other. I had to pick her up three times when she tried to eat Abner's food, and she did not object at all. In fact, two of those three times, she purred. She also kept going to the back door, so she's obviously used to being inside a house. I've no idea where she came from, but I think she'll get over her fear now. I can see that she's a sweetie. I guess I'll have to have my camera ready to take more pics. Wish I had done that this time.

Pretty cat. I said once Jim, that every cat in the neighborhood knows who you are. I think I must amend that. Every cat in the COUNTY knows who you are. I salute your kindness!

Good afternoon. Smoking now with Condor, in a MM General bent. And a dram of Ledaig 18 scotch. I know it's not Friday night, but I was thinking, if it were Friday night, what would I drink. Then I'll go out for a run for a few miles, or a few meters. We have a track full of dog poo, to make it more extreme and difficult. Here, in my town, some people believe that dog poop and urine go away with the sun, like Count Dracula.1TqR.gif

I'm not sure where your Friday is headed, but wish you luck on the journey and will see you on the other side. Sometimes you just need to howl at the moon ...

However, I don't run. The ice cubes fall out of my glass.

Good to be home from visiting my dad. The house is less a home without our pup Kevin. I’m stalling on errands because the list includes picking up his ashes.

Anyway, once I find a touch of motivation I get to take the CAO meer I picked up from @Ryan for it’s “new to me” run. Gonna see if I can keep the G&H Bob’s Chocolate Flake smoldering.
Have a great day y’all!1C47822F-8D5B-44AF-853E-8F364FAD0799.jpeg
