The other one is much more impressive.

The pirate skull isn't much smaller though.

Oh boy. They're both very exceptional but I didn't think they were so far apart in size.
You probably posted it dozens of times but what are the measurements of those pipes? Inside chamber measure and total length will drench my thirst.
Although I really wouldn't mind if you'd send one of them to me... 😁
Truly beautiful pieces and elevations and illuminations to any pipe collection.

I will never have anything like that and I know that you must cherish them, the Gods know that I do.
Mh, mh, mh!!! I can only say thanks for posting and sharing!

Manhattan Afternoon in a Briarworks bent apple. Weird bowl. The jar I have my Manhattan Afternoon in used to be my Westminster jar. I washed it several times to eliminate that latakia smell, and the first few times I opened the jar to smoke Manhattan Afternoon it smelled like Manhattan Afternoon. I opened it just now and it smelled like Westminster. Doesn't taste like it though.

Also. When I smoke this blend I can hear things kinda sizzle in the bowl. Very odd.

Drying a @Chasing Embers concoction of 1 part Lane 1Q, 1 part Esoterica Penzance on a paper towel (very humid today). My curiosity got the better of me, so here goes. My two attempts to name this blend (assuming I even have the privilege of doing so) fared about as well as the Washington Generals against the Harlem Globetrotters each night. Best I could muster was "Chasing Penbers" or worse yet, "2Q." I should really stick to my forte, which is...basically anything except naming blends. A shout out to @TheIronMonkey for the clearly superior title, "Modern Major General." Using my SMS claw meer, which couldn't be more apropos, I think.

Bird report: California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, California towhee, California quail, House finch, Hairy woodpecker, White-breasted nuthatch, Oak titmouse, Mountain chickadee, Common raven, Red-tailed hawk, Northern flicker, and Band-tailed pigeon. Last week of summer, and I need to throw a flannel on...that's a good sign!

Happy smokes everyone!

Damn...this is certainly a unique concoction! Never had anything quite like it--nothing else compares, not even remotely. Sweet and smoky together, but neither one beating the other into submission...just peacefully coexisting, and alternating flavors, the precise description of which completely eludes me. I think it's safe to say that my curiosity has been satisfied. Glad I had a long enough break in the rain to enjoy a (tiny) bowl.

Relaxing after a wonderful wild caught catfish and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've about a quarter of a bowl left of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Getting ready to watch the Braves-Giants game, and clean some pipes.
