Smoking the very last of my McClelland #2015 in my Big Ben Ranger. Another windy day -- just like with my bike-riding, I'm trying to shift my attitude from annoyance to seeing it as an opportunity to improve my skills.

It's tempting to think "Oh man, I should have bought a lot more of this when I still could!" But when I think back to then, I remember enjoying the aroma and sweet taste, but also scorching my mouth nearly every time with it. I wasn't in a big hurry to buy more...

Sutliff Revelation Match in a Stanwell. Been smoking this and C&D Epiphany quite a bit over the last few days. Comparing the two, I'll give the nod to Epiphany for being a little spicier and and better burning. Revelation Match is a little sticky, even after a lot of dry time. Both are good though.

Was offline over the weekend - went to watch my youngest participate in an Ironman 70.3, aka a half Ironman.
To help keep me smokey over the weekend, I had Lane RR, Amphora Virginia, Low Country Natural Virginia, Derringer, and Mac Baren Virginia Flake, in a variety of pipes. Had some Sutliff Medium English along, but was never in the mood for latakia.
Home now, and just finished a bowl of IRC Flake in a Stanwell Trio billiard.

The sun came out so I took my newly bound clay and sat in the garden under a young cherry tree,
enjoying some of that random farmers choice brick I recently pressed
and looking forward to a few quarts of frosty pilsener in the fridge and Top Gun: Maverick on the screen.
Here's a chance to look at my content mug. Happy smokes, everyone! puffy

@Chaukisch Looks good 👍
I've made a hand carved wooden spoon 🥄 today.
I'd like to get in touch with Wilson's of Sharrow to see if I can learn how to make some clay pipes:)

Did a second set of walks right before the storm started, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. It's pouring now.
