@Birddog66 I agree, I'm always finding them when litter picking. Only the Chinese could make a disposable product with a lithium battery, what a real waste of precious resources. I disassembled a few I picked up when litter picking to recycle the casing & battery.

Wilkes Blend #10 in a Peterson Wicklow Bent Bulldog
And now into a Peterson ‘23 Xmas XL11 and a second go with Maple Shadows after a few days. I really like it better today than I did a few days ago. When I want a lot of maple I lean to the Wilkes which are great, IMO. This is more understated and good in its own right.

Earlier I smoked a full bowl of Boswells Best in my recently purchased Boswell partially rusticated Canadian, now it’s FMC in my Peterson 221. Smoking some cream cheese on the smoker.
Today my mother would have been 93 but she was taken from us 30 years ago. She loved owls

Mac Baren Vanilla Cream Loose Cut in the usual morning cob today.
Today's pipe project is comparing Mac Baren's Vanilla Flake and Vanilla Cream Loose Cut, and what I'm finding is that they have the same flavor profile but the flake version is just a little stronger in taste. It's not a huge difference, but both the vanilla topping and the Virginia tobacco flavors just seem a little more pronounced in the flake version and are a bit more consistent and cohesive throughout the bowl. I think I'll be keeping the flake version in my rotation but the loose cut will be going down onto the shelf for tobaccos to sell or trade at some point.
spent the afternoon taking up the garden and wife's flower beds but not before I had some Coniston in a 999. last of the backstrap going on the grill, i've packed a bowl of ODF in a WVSS Rhodesian to smoke after dinner.

Just finished smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.
