Wilke's Lizzie Blood Red English in an IMP meerschaum. Good Gawd, this stuff is moist! Difficult to pack and light. I'm going to spread it out and let it breathe overnight.
Enjoyed a tasty Envy apple, and am half way through this bowl of Peretti Cuban Mixture in an undated slight bent rusticated brown with a darker fumed top unbranded Micoli billiard with a white accented perpex ferrule, off center square shank and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Have enough left for most of a bowl.
A late dinner break with D&R London Dock in my favorite pipe.
GLP Cairo in my Oriental blend pipe, a Phil Rivara long billiard/short churchwarden.
Watched The Wind that Shakes the Barley tonight. Inspired me to try Black Irish X for the first time, appropriately in the Peterson 107 Ebony Spigot.
My first impressions are that it's similar to how I feel about Scotch. It's very interesting but I'm not sure I like it.

Closing in on the half way mark of this bowl of year 2021 Watch City Glass Slipper Micro-Batch in an undated straight brown sandblasted Tom Eltang cherrywood with a black acrylic saddle stem. Watching the Padres-Dodgers game that I DVR'd.
Had a post-dinner nightcap of Bjarne Viking William The Conqueror in my Medico Whitewall billiard. A rare three bowl day for me.
The only thing this wonderful day is missing is the announcement that the Dodgers have fired Dave Roberts. But that should happen imminently!

I attended the Chicago Pipe Collectors Club monthly meeting this past evening at the Arlington Pipe and Cigar Lounge. I hadn't been to a meeting in a couple of months, and it was great to spend time again with my good friends and smoking buddies.
I smoked my smooth Pre-Trans Barling 409 EXEL pot with a saddle stem, filled with Samovar. A wee dram of Slane Irish Whiskey, from a communal bottle, was the perfect complement to smoke, "pipe talk," friendship, and camaraderie.

Had some Pegasus in my Eltang followed by half a chamber full of MacBaren Vanilla Roll Cake in the same pipe, driving around town picking up groceries and supplies. Winter is coming.
Later on...Peterson Irish Flake in my Peterson Belgique. I have a major problem with this blend, in that I only have one tin of it, and it's quickly going up in smoke.

Bought some Margate back around 2006 when I was in Virginia. Cracked her open for my birthday and am enjoying it in this Dunhill Shell from '67. Cheers everyone!
Just finished smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.
P&C has Irish Flake on sale right now for $9 a tin. Help your palate and cellar my friend and pick up some more.
Just finished feeding three ferals, and Suzy and Molly. I also finished smoking Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem.
About a third of a bowl left of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. That'll do for me today! 
Two long days of helping my sister move, paint and rearrange the garden equals about two eternities in the seventh circle of hell, a place where even despair dies. My body is ravaged and in shambles.

“Salty Dogs” Plug in my small chamber Kiko on this sunny sunday morning. Second smoke from the plug, it’s really nice. Not so expensive over here, Dan Tobacco is situated almost in the next corner, a few hundred kilometres north.
