Relaxing after a wonderful bowl and a half of chili (about a pound and half or more) topped with extra sharp cheddar cheese with a slice of pecan pie and a big banana split for dessert. I'm smoking H&H El Nino Reposado Marquee (Limited Edition) in a medium bend 2001 Ural lattice Rhodesian with a yellow with white swirls acrylic saddle stem. Working on a review of this blend as I watch the Mariners and Astros scoreless in the 13th inning. I'm DVRing the other ball games. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

About a quarter of a bowl left of 2021 Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Mariners and Astros are scoreless in the top of the 18th.

That meer (at least when pictured) is at that awesome coloring stage where it’s almost exactly the same color as the stem. Very cool.

GH&Co Black Irish X rope cut (again) in a BC straight taper stemmed billiard. Just scooped some vanilla ice cream for my wife and myself, and my wife shared a spoonful with the one of our cats who enjoys ice cream. His brother is indifferent, will sample, but just out of curiosity. The ice-cream-loving cat's eyes light up when he sees it. The cats know not to get between me and my food, but they know I'm a big sucker for almost any other favors.

I "feed the livestock" and scoop their boxes. The ice cream cat tucks me in at night and usually sleeps beside my feet.

It's not often that I have my Shabbat pipe before lunch, but as Kramer from Seinfeld points out, I don't argue with the body--that's an argument you can't win! Sutliff Uno (sample) in my Savinelli Bacco 321 bent author. Followed this up with an impromptu lunting in the neighborhood, C&D Warped St. Espresso (also sample) in my MM Country Gent. There was still some left when I got back, so I started an Allegash "Fine Acre" Golden Ale organic beer with the last of it. Nice day, and more of the same tomorrow, the last day of Sukkot.

Have a blessed weekend everyone!

Now smoking Granger in a straight smooth medium brown post-1940s Comoy’s Tradition 110B billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching the Yankees-Guardians game from the start. Glad I don't know what's happening in this game live or the Padres-Dodgers game.

Sutliff Balkan Sobranie 759 Match in a Stanwell featherweight pot/scoop 242. Maybe a nightcap light and for tomorrow. Toward the last of a 4 oz. jar of this blend, by now nicely aged. My mostly Maine Coon rescue cat Lefty is beside me at the computer watching the smoke rise from my pipe. He looks like he's praying.
