What is the stummel made of?Having @Humblepipe ’s 8 Days in a Kaufmann Bros. & Bondy (KB&B, a precursor to Kaywoodie) Gutta-percha Eagle Claw with Briar screw-in bowl, and orific bit, circa 1930s or earlier. This pipe is relatively large, measuring 10.5" diagonally from the stem tip to front claw.

@BorealPiper Just finished the Coniston Cut Plug I brought home from Buxton. Good tobacco choice for the King's Clay as it's like the old Condor Long Cut. I think Gawith tobacco is very well suited to clays!Coniston Cut Plug in an Ozark Mountain Briars cutty. This is one of the best-smoking pipes that I own.
