Rain rain go away!

Last of a tin of Sam's Flake in the '34 Barlings Make S-M.

It dawned on me this morning what I love so much about Sams Flake. Obviously I enjoy Gawith Virginias and Tonquin but there's something else.
It hit me - I remember being very young, maybe 5 or 6, and opening a package of RedMan chew and smelling it. That is what Sams Flake reminds me of.
I haven't encountered RedMan in my adult life so I don't know how accurate it is - but it appeases my memory.

I only loaded half or less of the Makhuwa to sample. Now Im haveing a sample of HU Edward G. Tomorrow I will crack open the Directors cut. The Edarwad G is good. We will see if it unseats Marlin Flake. Its pretty good...It might. its not quite as sweet but tastes more virginia forward.

Adding....yes this stuff is good. If you are a Marlin flake fan and you order from the EU or are here Edward G is definitely worth bringing home. I will be ordering more. It a little brighter than Marlin flake..a bit more citrus tang from virginias. Still deep and lush fruits come through.

I feel you there Carol, I’ve not been down like this in a long long time. I hope you recover quickly 🙏
Thank you. I agree. I haven't felt this rugged in a fair time. When the clinic tested me for strep, they also did test for Covid-19-it is NOT covid. So I guess there's that to be thankful for. Glad my relatives aren't coming for T-day. Don't think I!ll be feeling very festive. Everyone, be well, and enjoy the week.

I just received some beautiful gifts from a very good friend today, a shank logo Kaywoodie Super grain and a stunning 1920’s Sasieni Four Dot Amesbury as well as a sealed tin of 1940’s Edgeworth Slices.
I’m dying to load up the pipes but every time I light up my lungs try to escape my body, they obviously have more sense than my head.

Praying for you to fully recover soon so you're not feeling bad on Thanksgiving.

Another bag of rubbish this morning & dropped a bag of recycling off in Newbold. Meal & 2 pints of real ale at the Little Castle in Duckmanton; no issues with buses today:) Got money off vouchers for my food & beer, had a hot chocolate in my reusable cup on the way home and got a homeless man in Chesterfield one in his re-used take-out cup. Another plastic free day today!
