2011 Best Brown. You can find photos of it in the tin opening thread. Seal was intact.

Amazing stuff. Mahogany brown flakes. Smooth and mellow. Much milder than FVF. I prefer this because I don't want all the nicotine of FVF. This is subtle and has to be packed and smoked carefully, preferably indoors. I actually came in from my balcony to smoke inside so I could get a better sense of the side-stream.

Also, I think for me this is peak age. Any longer and either the flavor may fade or the tin will fail or both!

I came so close to buying that, so many times. Glad it's performing well for you! Truly stunning.
Did you also buy the pear?
Thank you for the kind words!

...and the Canadian. I received the Apple and Canadian last Friday, and soon after glossing them over, ordered the Pear. These have been on my radar since they dropped, and the purchase was all down to the perfection of timing, with a recent trade-in funding much of the purchase.

The duo does some amazing work, and I am proud to own a few of their pieces. Their pipes seem quite scarce to come by, but their classically shaped pipes are absolute stunners, IMO. I think their website is now offline, but I wouldn't hesitate in reaching out to them for a commission, if their books are open. I may have to find a way to reach out to them and do so, when the budget is available.

STRONG move. Good for you.

I should thank you, as well. I could not decide between those 3. Although that stout apple still tempts me...

Looking forward to seeing them here. Enjoy!

Edit: changed my mind, didn't want to swear on here.
