Good morning all. I’m enjoying a bowl of Bob‘s Chocolate Flake, and sipping a hot cup of joe, while sitting on the sunny side of the porch on this chilly morning.

It’s been awhile since the last time I posted. Life kept me on a Rollercoaster ride for a few months. My father suffered a heart attack from which he never recovered. He held on for 2 months, fighting like hell and enduring daily suffering. My evenings and weekends were spent by his bedside. His death has had a profound effect on me and I’m still trying to process life without him.

Exactly 4 weeks after my fathers death, we welcomed our first grandchild into the family. A beautiful baby girl named after my mother. She holds her Papa’s heart in her tiny little hand and has been the perfect medicine to heal a broken heart.

I‘m ready for life to return to some semblance of normalcy, and get back to my daily routine. I’ve missed relaxing with a pipe and hanging out with you guys. Things that were once taken for granted are now treated with great appreciation and gratitude.

Thank you to everyone that has reached out while I’ve been away. The kind words and gestures will always be remembered.

Cheers!

All our prayers and condolences. And . . . although the phrase is trite these days (but from my oldest daughter's favorite movie) what a wonderful story about your granddaughter and affirmation of the "circle of life". PM on the way.

Mild, slow burning cavendish with a hint of vanilla and nougat. Spicy peppery notes fill the middle - I am reminded of a steak dinner. The taste notes have all been softened by aging and time. This blend doesn’t slap you across the back or arrogantly intrude into your being by stinging your tongue. No, Telescopes is like an old long lost friend who has a comforting hand and is ready to pick up the conversation where you left off as if it was only yesterday.

There are no hay fields or sprouts of alfalfa lurking around. An oak forest, this blend is a walk into a midwestern forest in the late fall during deer season. Its woodsiness is not spring or summer and the mossy notes are quiet and filtered like the November sun and not the vibrancy of sunlight in July.

When one is done with wanting for more, Telescopes is ready to fill the void not with less, but with the memory of a life well lived.

Good afternoon. Enjoying the first third of KBN 3989, gift from our good friend Telescopios. In a MM General bent pipe. I find it an excellent aromatico, sweet, balanced, without losing the essence of a good aroma of real tobacco. When you smell it in the glass jar, it is overwhelming vanilla, milk chocolate, dulce de leche, coffee candy. However when you smoke it, it is an aroma with balance, without being heavy in sweetness, natural aroma of vanilla and other sweet pastries. I love this tobacco. Great job my friend Telescopes. Congratulations and thank you very much.

Thank you, @JOHN72 I am delighted to hear it works well for you. It reminds me of Seville and I imagine I am sitting alongside the river sipping a nice Scotch. The old men walking their dogs and the young women jogging by all give me a smile and I know all is well with the world.

I’m very sorry to hear about your father. I had wondered about your absence—you were missed. For the majority of people, you have a single set of parents and their loss is a singular experience—nothing can fully prepare you for that event. Over time, it generally hurts less.

Congratulations on the birth of your granddaughter!
