I put a pinch of salt in my pot of coffee, it’s a Navy thing I believe but I’ve heard it being the done thing in the Victorian era. Anyone else do this?I don’t need toast, I just put the damn butter in my coffee and skip it!
Whatcha whittling?A delicious bowl of C&D 'We Three Kings' in an Irish Seconds Calabash Spigot.

I found a old Yaesu Musen FRG7 in a skip a while ago, it lights up when you turn it on but I’ve no antenna and no idea how to use it. Perhaps it’s something I should look into.Settling down to an evening of miscellaneous interests, we shall see which captures my attention.
A bowl of Wilke Tobacco Peanut Butter in my Peterson B10 to begin the night... be well

Have a go at Sutliff 507 Stoved Va, it’s a great smoke imo.A Castello panel swan? I guess. It’s a Castello but not sure what shape to call this. I’m told it’s rare and have been on the hunt for another Castello is this shape.
This pipe quickly became a top 3 favorite pipe. Virginias have been a dream. The 2021 CRF w/ perique has hit a new level. Dark deep flavor I this piro
That just fits the hand perfectly.
I find the better feeling pipe, the one that comfortable, the better the smoke. Am I crazy? Lol.
Virginias have become my favorite go too these days.
Blackwood Flake, Capstan Blue, Golden Sliced, Solani 633 are the current rotation. What am I missing that’s a must?

I'm so very sorry to hear about your father's passing. I hope you are finding comfort in family and in good memories. But also congratulations on the granddaughter -- bittersweet timing, for sure, but ultimately good timing. (My family had a similar series of events happen.)Good morning all. I’m enjoying a bowl of Bob‘s Chocolate Flake, and sipping a hot cup of joe, while sitting on the sunny side of the porch on this chilly morning.
It’s been awhile since the last time I posted. Life kept me on a Rollercoaster ride for a few months. My father suffered a heart attack from which he never recovered. He held on for 2 months, fighting like hell and enduring daily suffering. My evenings and weekends were spent by his bedside. His death has had a profound effect on me and I’m still trying to process life without him.
Exactly 4 weeks after my fathers death, we welcomed our first grandchild into the family. A beautiful baby girl named after my mother. She holds her Papa’s heart in her tiny little hand and has been the perfect medicine to heal a broken heart.
I‘m ready for life to return to some semblance of normalcy, and get back to my daily routine. I’ve missed relaxing with a pipe and hanging out with you guys. Things that were once taken for granted are now treated with great appreciation and gratitude.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out while I’ve been away. The kind words and gestures will always be remembered.
Cheers!
