Now smoking the last of this tin of year 2022 Astley’s No. 109 Medium Flake in a smooth, medium brown early Radice full bend crossgrain/bird's eye 2 dot Clear with a black acrylic tapered stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in quite a while.
2020 Carolina Red Flake with Perique in a Briarworks bent apple. I like this blend a lot more after it's been in a jar for a few months. I wasn't too into it when I popped the tin of it. Not bad. I'm glad I bought a few tins of it.

I agree, but in the twenty years I have owned it, I never devoted it to a particular blend. It's big, so I have to be in the mood for it since I don't smoke big pipes like I used to. And, I have a fair number of big pipes, too. I will say this Radice is a great smoker, though.
Enjoyed a tasty Jazz apple, fed two ferals, and am going to work with a bowl of 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Mid-2018 Irish Flake in my Musicò lumberman earlier today. First lasting snowfall of the year. Hello Winterpeg. Popped a tin of 3P's purchased in the summer of 2019. Sliced it up real thin with my small meat cleaver. Smells amazing. It's drying out in the open tin. Really looking forward to trying this one in the coming days.
