Part way through this bowl of year 2014 Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake in a smooth dark brown quarter bend post-1935 KBB/Kaywoodie New England Briar Pipe Company Flagship 83B Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I haven’t been able to successfully acquire St Espresso. What are your thoughts??!!
I really like it. When I first got it, I opened a tin and tried it right away and didn't think that much at the time, and it's been sitting in my garage for several months and just picked it up not too long ago and had some and I really like it now. I think liking the Warped Scarecrow so much (totally different to me than the Espresso and like it a bit better) is what got me to pick it up. Chocolate-y, vanilla-y, nice and rich, but still a fall tobacco feeling for me, I guess for lack of better terms - I don't really get much that suggests espresso or the cigar influence but that may change as well, who knows -don't really care if I don't, lol. Good stuff, IMO.

A few minutes away from smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.

Thank you. I can’t wait to try some, or as you stated it might be worth the wait.

One of my favorite VaBurs, Mac Baren Golden Extra, in my sandblasted Barling bent egg. Paired with a small pour of brandy. Great way to end a ludicrously busy day, but with a big snowstorm rolling in this evening, the last thing I want is to have a bunch of crap to do while freezing my nuts off in a blizzard.

Bird report: California scrub-jay, White-breasted nuthatch, Steller's jay, House finch, Purple finch (only the 2nd time I've seen one at my current location), White-crowned sparrow, Chipping sparrow, Golden-crowned sparrow, California towhee, Oak titmouse, Northern flicker, Dark-eyed junco, Mountain chickadee, and California thrasher. Very active day, even before the mid-day break in the rain.

My Three Sails sample (3.5 oz - fills a whole quart jar!) arrived today. Of course tried it at my earliest opportunity, with a light snow falling, and cold breeze moving through.. it was a quick bowl in a cob. I had no real expectation for this, but it was a finer cut than i expected. Nice smoke. Mild. Too cold for me to really give it a fair consideration, i kind of rushed it and hustled back inside. It did not cooperate with my cold decaf latte. Looking forward to trying again with a warmer afternoon. ;)

My wife thinks it’s funny that I bird watch. Yesterday I spotted an American Kestrel sitting 15’ in front of us. We must discuss birds on another forum. Lol
