Good evening. After a few days without showing up around here, for the death of a relative of my wife. I go back to smoking after a few days of anguish and pain. A first cousin of my wife died of cancer. I was only 43 years old......a lovely woman...God bless his soul......I'm smoking now with. Capstan Blue, in a corn cob General....
Sorry for your loss John & cheers to you and yours for the holiday season. ??☕

About my previous post on this thread, the home mix of Izmir Turkish, unflavored black Cavendish, and cigar leaf is a pleasant, mild smoke. I might add a little kick with Big'n'Burley or Five Brothers, but as it is, it is a good recipe.
Planning on something similar myself as soon as my order containing some cigar leaf and Elizabethan Match comes in. Maybe throw in some Kendal Kentucky too. Don’t have any unflavored black cavendish though. I’ve got vanilla but…

Packed for later today, a home mix of Izmir Turkish, cigar leaf, and unflavored black Cavendish, in thirds, in a Kemperling (Austrian) smooth, bent Rhodesian, a 9 mm filter pipe smoked without the filter, which this pipe does well. This is an odd assortment of leaf, but I'm hoping for the best. That Lab puppy in the post above about melts me. What a charmer.
That sounds like a good mix mso.
I’m probably going to try something similar now. Thanks for the idea

I love half & half as well , i got 3 big canisters that i let aging , apparently its incredible with couples ages on it.
The first time I smoked it was out of a pouch and it was God awful. Smelled and tasted like kerosene. I threw the pouch away. Then I read that the tub is supposed to be much better so I rolled the dice and bought one. Glad I did as I have now gone through many of them. Amazing how the same blend can be so different from pouch to tin.

I'm sorry for your loss. Never easy and especially during this time of year.
