Okay, a slightly modified version of my home mix -- adding Semois thick cut to my previous mixture, in equal parts, of cigar leaf, unflavored black Cavendish, and Izmir Turkish, with the Belgium burley variant adding a little extra edge, in a Christmas present pipe from about eleven years ago, a Johs (Mogen Johansen) bent freehand, tomahawk style, with plateau on both the brim and shank. This is an interesting blend, complexity with easy smoking. The Cavendish adds volume to the smoke and a little sweetness.

“These fancies arise in the soul (alas, how rarely!) only at its epochs of most intense tranquillity -- when the bodily and mental health are in perfection -- and at those mere points of time where the confines of the waking world blend with the world of dreams
And so I captured this fancy, where all that we see or seem is but a saddle stem within a saddle stem."

Been wanting a B10 and this showed up today! With the new Rathbone announcement I thought some Edward G. Robinson as a nod to @jiminks would be appropriate. Sitting on the deck waiting for an Italian meal. This stuff is what I always thought tobacco would be like and that’s a good thing!View attachment 111680
Thanks for the kind words, and I'm glad you like EGR. I like that pipe a lot. Wish I owned one, but the 4ABs got all that I can spend.
