Now that you mentioned LL Bean,They had their own pipe tobacco back in the early 90s,which they sold from the flagship store just outside of Portland,Maine. Two different mixtures. One was an Aromatic,and the other was a bit more on the natural side.Very unique casing,have not seen anything like it since.Don't know who made it for themPeterson Royal Yacht, maybe the second to the last bowl of this tin, in a traditional straight pot by Amadeus, a Greek pipe maker, that looks like an L.L. Bean Dr. Grabow pipe I used to have, but smokes better. The broad bowl spreads out the blend pieces a little better and gives fuller flavor, I think. This pipe has improved over the years, always satisfactory, but always improving.
