Idong,South Korea.
Peterson Royal Yacht, maybe the second to the last bowl of this tin, in a traditional straight pot by Amadeus, a Greek pipe maker, that looks like an L.L. Bean Dr. Grabow pipe I used to have, but smokes better. The broad bowl spreads out the blend pieces a little better and gives fuller flavor, I think. This pipe has improved over the years, always satisfactory, but always improving.
Now that you mentioned LL Bean,They had their own pipe tobacco back in the early 90s,which they sold from the flagship store just outside of Portland,Maine. Two different mixtures. One was an Aromatic, and the other was a bit more on the natural side.Very unique casing, have not seen anything like it since.Don't know who made it for them

A little high-brow/low-brow with a 50/50 mixture of ESO Penzance and FHM Shortcut to Mushrooms in this cheap-o Morgans Bones "Chubby 20":

In a similar way to my fondness for meerschaums, this nude briar pipe tastes great and colors in a satisfying "patina" kind of way.
Seems that Shortcut to Mushrooms is making a bit of a come-back.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken and green beans dinner with a small scoop of French vanilla ice cream for dessert. Half way through this bowl of the soon-to-be released Wilke Irish Pipe Club in a full bend black pebble finish 2001 Rinaldo Lithos YY8 Titania Silver Line egg with a black acrylic tapered stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching a Tim Holt western.

Decided to list this a few minutes early so I can concentrate on work for a bit: D&R Penhooker in a 1990 straight dark brown Commemorative reproduction of the 1890 Peterson Patent System 12393 stack billiard with a silver band and a bowed black acrylic 32 AB long stem p-lip.

I like the look of that stem - imparts a certain "Je Ne sais quoi" to an otherwise "just another billiard"

Peterson should make those stems a regular production option.
