Meanwhile I brought to the family gathering some Brand X “aromatic English” (basically potpourri) which I’m smoking out of my throw down - a thoroughly ghosted Peterson deluxe. Poor old thing has no doubt seen some hard times - but we don’t talk about it, she burns anything and doesn’t complain.

Relaxing after a Thanksgiving dinner that can't be beat, and I'm almost half way through this bowl of Watch City Original Crumb Cut in a 1979 Ascorti Business KS Hungarian with a black pearl acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Listing this a few minutes early: year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

The blend is from last month’s batch, and I have really come to like it. It took a few smokes to get there. I think it just needed some air. It’s a nice red VA.

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.
Last smoke of the day…. Rustica in a Savinelli Piuma dublin.
