Two quick morning smokes. Huge and nasty diversion in between - bathing my squirming, objecting 20 year old blind and deaf Shi-tsu Ricoh. Afternoon, or more likely evening, horror show will be clipping and trimming him. 'Nuff said.
Started the day with a quick pipe in bed. Yeah, I know, but wanted to test my brand new small scale air purifier. Stellar. And so was the smoke, TobaccoBarn's best Navy, "Rockwell." Worthy backup to BF. Pipe is a McQueen "Miniature Dwarf", in briar. Shades of "Lord of the Rings."
After the mutt ordeal, went back to bed to rest my sore back and nerves, and lit up a similar pipe, the McQueen "Miniature Prospector" and stuffed it with a tobacco I'm becoming more and more fond of for general smoking, Sir Walter Raleigh Pipe Tobacco. Had a great little smoke and gave the purifier another run. This pipe is cherrywood, but all the McQ's have ash stems. Will take on a serious ghost, so I think best to dedicate them. Enjoyed the smoke so much I might do an evening repeat with SWR in a medium or large bowl. Also shown in the picture is my minimal tool kit for smoking in bed. Yeah, I know.
