Just returned home from an anniversary dinner with the Mrs. She surprised me with a pipe she picked out all on her own. A Savinelli Collection 2014 to symbolize our first year. She did a great job!

Now smoking C&D Golden Days of Yore in a new to me Savinelli Collection 2014 Rhodesian.

Buddy Mike dropped over for a puff and some music. Smoked my oriental dedicated meer with Sunday Picnic tonight. Great smoke for sure, but I should be smoking it more often so it'll take on more color. Maybe 3 times a week. I think it has about 15 or so smokes so far, and the last 3 or 4 have been stellar, as was tonight's. Enjoyed the Sibelius Violin Concerto with Perlman as an accompaniment. Ended the evening with Schoenberg's "5 Pieces for Orchestra" and a Swisher's Grape cigar. Mike used to be the recording technician for the PG Symphony, is musically knowledgeable, and he enjoys this type of evening as much as I do.
