Did a set of walking reps on this cold and windy day, and with help from that wind, I smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

I think that's really cool of you to do. I hear that Cherokee is better hydrated, and with Cherokee Black, it's better jarred for several months, so I'm guessing that this would be true for Cherokee Red too- hydrating and jarring it would make it better.
It's remarkable that in one of the pipe club tests, Cherokee Black scored about as high as the "real" pipe tobacco that was shag cut like Stokkebye and Kendal. The test didn't use Red, but I hear that it's OK too.
Finally getting around to some 2013 Christmas Cheer. Pipe is a GBD Virgin grade bulldog.

I've passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink. Watching Disney's Davy Crockett.
