Part of the Furniture Now
To much break in piping. Got the Ropp so it's pretty well there, and gonna take a cigar break, and maybe a few more today. About to light up a Colt Cavendish, and putting aside a Precipes Cacao for early evening, and a Deadwood Sweet Jane for tonight, while spending the evening listening to some Wagner and cleaning a bunch of pipes thoroughly.

Might do the same tomorrow, depending on the state of my chops and tongue lol.

@telescopes - I assume that stem/shank is made in sections for disassembly and cleaning?
Nope. One continuous piece from a long cherrywood stem. It’s cleaned using a very thin wire and water. The mouthpiece is bone. The bowl is bored out In such a way that it has a small hole at the very bottom that has a chamber below it where the stem enters. The pipe is well over 60 years old.
