Yup. I like the Porto Cervo finish as well and can see myself getting another one in the pot shape. Is that a Porto Cervo 614? I love the 614 shape and have several. The Porto Cervo will be my next. Really like the look of it.
It’s a great looking pipeGoing to have @Humblepipe Silverado Fire (stoved Black Virginia, Dark Fired Burley, 10% Exotics, in Maker’s Mark) in an HS Studio Sandblasted Eskimo while I watch dart vids from the 2024 Machineseeker European Championship in Dortmund. I love the visual aesthetic of the Eskimo shape, but I have to say it’s almost like gripping the cutting wheel of a pizza slicer and not the most comfortable to hold.

@gord I have acquired a peculiar loathing for eBay pipe vendors who don't trouble to learn anything about what they're selling and consequently post little or no information or use AI-generated cliched sales blurb and don't answer questions; if I nonetheless feel I have to deal with them because I really want a particular pipe, I console myself with the thought that I am rescuing it from the abusive paws of ignorant barbariansBest laid plans of mice and men. A friend broke a pipe, and I gave him one I didn't use. Decided to replace it with a vintage pipe on Evilbay. This is a Ropp 350 from the 1950s. It was advertised as unused, but obviously wasn't. As it only cost $35 Canadian, I figured I'd keep it as the return would have cost me more in postage than I paid for the pipe. Vendor knew dick, obviously. In any case, it's a piece of history, my first vintage and estate. Okay by me.
