Yesterday, we left Nova Scotia earlier than expected. Susan opted to drive fifteen hours straight back home with bathroom pitstops (for us and Wasabi) and gas refills about every two hours. We were beat when we got back a little after midnight. UFC Fight Night, Petr Yan vs. Daveison Figueiredo, was taking place in the Galaxy Arena in Macau, China; the prelims started at 3:00 am EST, but I thought they were at 6:00 am. I finished smoking the Savinelli sometime after 4:30 am only to discover I’d already missed ninety minutes of the broadcast. I tried watching the fights live, but was too tired and konked out with the TV on. I woke up around 8:30 and caught the tail end of the co-main, then watched the main event. I’m now going to watch the broadcast from the beginning.
Having Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in an Unbranded, Rusticated, Octagonal Paneled Magnum. This 10" behemoth sports a 1.125" wide chamber. It doesn’t quite have the shank curve to be an LC, but it comes close with its overall profile. Being eight-sided, with a huge chamber, makes it a perfect UFC pipe for me. This may be the only pipe I have where I can fit my entire index finger inside the chamber. This one pipe will last through the prelims, main card, and post show.

Reached for this 2009 Boswell, Mini Ball replica churchwarden packed with WCC American Cut Plug Mixture. Packed loose, it’s a nice 15 min smoke.

First bowl of Orlik Golden Sliced in a DM Stanwell. This is a new Tobacco for me. 
I used this cob all summer with Gentlamen Caller while on the mower. Felt like some Maple Walnut Pie as we have leaves on the ground so I tossed that in here today. Yes, I know ghosting is a thing but this is my first time experiencing it. Not bad, just...different and a little odd...

I think that those of us who feel our emotions are more fortunate than those that don't and gives us a better appreciation of this world we live in. I was watching programs as you were of tree lightings and singing and commented to my wife about the people in countries in this world that haven't advanced and live in horrible conditions and just how blessed we are.
And when I tear up when the American Flag passes in a parade and the band is playing or when I hear a beautiful Christmas Carol and I thank God for letting me cherish those moments.
All is right with the world so get out a handkerchief or tissue and pack a pipe
