Morning cigar - Oliva Rounds which Cigar Page sold me hinting that it is the second of Melanio. I am using this cigar to perk me up for a graduation party of a friend’s daughter later today.
Been a great long weekend so far without many planned engagements which can be great as I get to choose what I want to do. Probably will go riding bikes in a bit. For now though I’m having a bowl of PS LNF in a cob with coffee

Balkan Sasieni in an Ashton Sovereign XXX lovat. This is a memorable tin of tobacco...dated 2018, I opened it a month ago and jarred it. Smokes better than I had any hopes for.
Started the morning with another bowl of Milan’s Our Carter Hall in an old Frank Medico pipe, similar to a Jetstream but not labeled as such. It’s a really good smoking pipe. I have 2 other Jetstreams that smoke great too!
No but I wish that I did. I bought two type trays and a cigar box full of type at an estate sale, along with a light table, many years ago. I do linocut and gel prints and would like to try letterpress stuff.

GLP Navigator in a Ropp Vintage with horn stem
I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to ask this before. I know from other threads that you listen to jazz (among other genres). In the WAYS threads, you often have what look like wonderful, original, vintage sheet music as backdrops for your pipes. Do you play jazz and/or collect jazz sheet music?
A third of the way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed my cats, and Daisy the Feral Princess, who spent the night inside. Tomato the Brave is in and eating now. Harry the Hairy is eating outside. No Abner the Eager yet. The Orioles-Red Sox game starts after the bottom of this hour.
