I'd be curious to know if you ever ran into water hazard 'gators or snakes on the fringes. . . . nothing like that up here, but there are bears, and especially moose . . . swamp donkeys can actually be dangerous to golfers, moreso than bears, who are simply inquisitive. Usually.

On the menu for my commute home was a bowel of C&D The Beast loaded in my Thayne 33 and paired with plain water. It was another warm one today but at least I didn't look as greasy as I did in yesterday's picture

My club is quite difficult and has lots of sand traps strategically located. There is a ton of wildlife including gators. Knock on wood, don't see many snakes. Below is a bald eagle eating it's prey less than 10 ft from me.That's a monster trap behind you

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2012 Esoterica Dorchester in a straight smooth brown 1920s KBB Rocky Briar 1582 patent no.298978 with a B in a circle bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. As I took the trash and recycle cans to the street, Abner the Eager road blocked me. I gave him some head scratches, and put him on my car so I could finish what I was doing. After that, I gave him more attention, and he wanted even more, so I brought him inside to eat. He stayed a while before he went out. Harry the Hairy came in, and is still inside snoozin'. Same goes for Daisy the Feral Princess. Fed my cats, too.
I made pizza for m'lady and me. I am not admitting how much I ate because few people would believe me. M'lady made a lemon blueberry shortcake that was topped with sliced strawberries and home made whipped cream. I had two big slices. I'm near the last third of this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Been watching the Braves-Nats game.

A SP order arrived in the mail today, so I decided to have a go with Briarworks Smokehouse in my Merchant Service lovat. This is actually the first Briarworks tobacco I've tried, and it's delicious! I can see this becoming a regular reorder.
You mostly got it right. I would say Sutliff's EGR is mildly aromatic. The HU Edward G is definitely different and is not aromatic.I get some similarities of the old but my palate isn’t as refined as it needs to be to pull out what all the differences are between the two
The Original American Blend was an Aromatic of Burley, Cavendish and Latakia.
The HU Blend is Perique, Dark Fired Kentucky, Burley, Orientals, and Cavendish.
I think( term used looselybut I obviously stand corrected that the HU is not an aromatic but pulls out similar taste nuances with just the tobacco. That being said they are vastly different.
Maybe @JimInks can chime in as he knows both versions extensively and the US Version was very much his child and without him we wouldn’t have had it as long as we did.
That being said the HU is definitely worth the price of admission to take the ride.
