Relaxing after a wonderful salad, three sword fish steaks, green beans and a baked potato dinner with a bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I'm almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2022 Solani 633 in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar post-WW2-mid 50s family era Barling’s Make Ye Olde Wood Straight Grain Made in England bulldog with a diamond shape shank and black ebonite stem. This pipe came from the estate of David Cuneo. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

On my commute back home I loaded up a little mixture of 5 Brothers, Rivertown Crimson Shadow, and C&D The Beast in my Thayne 33, with a lightly flavored black tea on the side.

I hope you all have/had a great 🌮 Tuesday!

It was Sansepolcro Tuesday around here. Been smoking some from 2020, gifted by a fine member here, and got a few of the new ones coming in from today's release. How do you like The Beast? Sounds like a good evening blend.

As for now, it's time for an after-dinner relaxation bowl of Maestro Puccini in a Kevin Arthur nose warmer.

I personally like it! I am partial to perique though. The rum notes are very present and I get a little sweet, spicy, and smokiness from it. It's been a bit since I've smoked it straight but I don't remember any bite. I am probably doing a poor job explaining it but it's definitely worth having a go if you dig rum and perique. If nothing else, it's great for mixing 😉

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2010 Penzance in a 1990s smooth dark brown medium bend Peterson Captain Pete XL80 bulldog with a metal accent and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. M'lady made a small batch of tomato soup, and since this is an off diet day, I had a fairly decent size bowl of it along wth a grilled cheese sandwich and a Snap Dragon apple. Going to clean pipes that I smoked today.

Half way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Just fed Tomato the Brave who must figure that we're the local drive-in because he was in and out as soon as he finished eating. Daisy the Feral Princess is eating now.

Now smoking from a freshly opened tin of year 2012 Butera Pelican in a 1970s slight bend black sandblasted English Rustic 120S Billiard (Comoy’s second) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This pipe originally belonged to my college art mentor, the late professor Walter Barker. The tobacco is still moist, and there's no loss of flavor. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
