@johng99-I can only imagine. May you and yours be blessed with peace, strength and comfort.

Just helped my neighbor pull an RV that’s being donated to his church’s ministry from the back of his property. He never asks for help, but driving the tractor and steering the RV was tough for one guy.
I drove his tractor, since I was already smoking some NM400 I’d stoved a couple years ago in a little AKB Skater meer.

I haven’t been on here for a while, last week my significant other gave up the good fight to a vicious cancer. It’s been two long years of suffering and pain. May she rest in peace. In her honor I opened a tin of 12 year old 1792 and am enjoying the peace. God bless you all.

Sorry for loss. Long fights are tough. May she rest in peace and you find peace in positive memories.

Near the first third of this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed my cats, and Tomato the Brave. Going to check on who else is around.

Sure hate that Edward G Robinson is no longer gonna be available. I enjoy that blend.

John, so sorry to hear of your loss. Cancer sucks.

Squeezed in a quick concrete patch repair on our front stoop just before UFC started! Now watching UFC Fight Night, Gilbert Burns vs. Michael Morales at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Nevada. This broadcast can be referred to as: UFC Fight Night 256; or UFC Vegas 106; or UFC on ESPN+ 114—it’s virtually impossible to keep up with these alternate name designations for the same event—but, somebody does, and shares the info online. Anyway, I’m having Newminster No. 400 Superior Navy Flake in a Comoy’s Specimen Freehand (probably carved by Horry Jameson). It has the numbers 77 008 stamped on the right side of the shank—not sure if this is a model number or serial number. I suspect the original tenon was modified at some point to the current 9mm filter tenon, so there’s no way of establishing a date range based on the original tenon shape.

Burning some snausages on the grill and cracking a cold beer, gearing up for the bloodbath that could be Game 2 in the Pirates/Phillies series. If the bullpen performs like they did last night.... well I'm not sure 1000006614.jpgI have enough beer for that.
For now it's high hopes and some Wilke 515 in a Boswell stubby apple. Let's Go Bucs!

Basil Meadows and his son was in town at an event, so m'lady and I spent some time with them. Almost finished smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dorchester in a straight smooth brown 1920s KBB Rocky Briar 1582 patent no.298978 with a B in a circle bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed our cats, and two ferals. Watching the Orioles-Nats game.
