With storm clouds gathering, I went out to the workroom to enjoy the first bowl of May, Peterson DeLuxe Navy Rolls in a Foyard Rhodesian. No sooner had I finished the charring light, the hail began...
Not huge, obviously, but with rain and a cold wind keeping it company, let's just say I'm glad the Foyard's chamber is on the small side. We're at about the two and a half hour mark, and this storm is showing no signs of letting up. Of course, the word "shelter" is just not in some people's vocabulary...
Bird report: House finch, California towhee, California scrub-jay, California quail, Steller's jay, American crow, Red-tailed hawk, Mountain chickadee, Western bluebird, Spotted towhee, White-breasted nuthatch, Mourning dove, and Northern flicker.
That's a way of life for some people! No one on here, of course...
