C&D Blockade Runner in my MM Hardwood while it rains.

I estimate I only have about two bowls left in this tin. The increased humidity may be as much to thank for these last couple of bowls tasting better as anything I’ve been doing deliberately. The rum seems to have largely dissipated, as well. This has been a tasty blend, but I’m tempted to crack open my tin of Yorktown next, to see if the stoved C&D Virginias (but without the rum soak) do it even better for me. 😊

Guy who owned the collection seemed to like one type of tobacco only. Wish I knew what it was, because I have a big box that smells like it.

I exorcised the ghost from half a dozen keepers, no problem.
A few more runs of burley blends should do the trick, it reminds me of 1Q or something in that ballpark but its not unpleasant. If it gets really bad I'll bust out some Five Brothers cause those boys pack a wallop. May as wall call that blend the Ghostbusters.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I should be able to go off my diet tomorrow. :) I'm at the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. I'm sure the Pirates are happy that the Rockies are in the National League as a preventative measure from being the league's worst team. Molly Danger was in the den and kitchen for a while, but went back to the bed room a few minutes ago. All the ferals have been outside since we fed them at seven. I looked out the door a couple of minutes ago, and Harry the Hairy was laying belly and arms up in blissful sleep. He's such a cutie!

Not that it matters, but I think this is my favourite of your meers. The quarter bent stem, bowl shape, and design just work and fit together. Looks like it's taking on more color than the first time i really noticed it.. . . . 👍 👍

This is really too big a thread to discern some patterns until you've been here for a stretch. :)
The Altinok is my favorite, it helps that it smokes my favorite bowl of the day (Sir John's each morning with a mug of coffee). I like this one because Mr. Altinay worked with me to design it. As far as the coloring goes, I think that is mostly wax. It will take a while for the true coloring to start showing much. It's starting to on my other Altinay which now has over 1,000 bowls smoked in it. Coloring Meers is not for the impatient.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Dan Tobacco Treasures of Ireland: Limerick in a 2021 medium bend black sandblasted Peterson Newgrange 80S bent bulldog silver spigot with a tapered reddish brown, black striped acrylic stem. Just fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave. When I opened the door to let Daisy in, Tomato started yipping and yapping at me, and ran as quickly as he could to come inside to eat. He went out as soon as he finished. Daisy is lying by my feet.

I purchased an inexpensive knockoff Old Boy style lighter to try before dropping the real money for an IM Corona. Wanted to see if I liked it. I’m used to my zippo. Pipe lit faster and more evenly. When this one fails on me, I will be buying the real thing. Packed a 1/2 bowl of Boswell’s Christmas Cookie in my Boswell. This is the most flavorful bowl I have had so far. I’m wondering if it’s because I packed it fairly loose.

Yes that was my Father in 53 when he was in the Service. The picture was in the background when I started posting on ways and I thought why not keep it there 🤷‍♂️
Hello Paul --- Well, that's the answer that I've wondered about having seen the picture for last couple years. It always caught my attention, since it (he) looks very similar to some pics of my (passed on) Uncle Rob, a 33-yr St Paul MN Police Officer. Is the car a '49 or '50 Ford?
BTW, I have a special feeling for VA, having lived there for almost 3 years = Northern VA right across the Potomac from DC. I also spent time during my US Army days stationed for nearly a year at Ft Lee. Drove through Richmond couple times when visiting Williamsburg & Petersburg. DC area is my special vacation spot, incredibly so much interesting & SO MANY excellent restaurants.
Next visit, I should try to get to Roanoke to visit Milan Tobacco.
