Greve Hamilton in my only meer, a Peterson I bought in an estate haul a few months ago. Considering buying my first new meer pipe so I figured I should clean this up and try it out since I don't remember ever smoking one before.

That’s an African meer. They’re not quite as porous as a Turkish meer and don’t color as easily.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am smoking Wilke Surbrug’s Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Listening to Our Miss Brooks from my radio collection.

Usual start to the day, Skiff in the Falcon, then a delicious bowl of Cabbies (it really floats my boat) in the Sarome, but now, an experiment - I've had some thin cut flakes of St James Plug drying for a few days, took one and wrapped it in a bit of the Flake, stuffed into my Peterson Cara. Result!! Very very nice.
