I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of C&D Virginia Gentleman in a straight smooth dark brown pre-1940s Comoy’s Jost’s Olde English Supreme J299 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

That doesn't look like the Coniston I know! I'd send it back for sure.

I’m not spending the time or gas money to drive it to UPS to get a refund later, their recent record of handling refunds and charges has been less than stellar. Too many quality vendors to bother with them any more.
